O.J. Simpson's lawyer said he'll go to court to make Miami-Dade County pay litigation expenses from the ex-football star's October road rage trial.

Attorney Yale Galanter said he will ask Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy on Thursday to order the county to reimburse Simpson for $6,206 of his defense expenses.

Simpson, 54, was acquitted on Oct. 24 of auto burglary and battery charges carrying a possible 16-year prison sentence for an angry encounter with another driver in December 2000.
