So, Mike Leavitt has decided to pick the pocket of the fund that was slated to educate our children and thus deprive them of the luxuries of schooling, like books and stationery.

I have come up with a plan. With the merger frenzy going ballistic in the business world, why don't the larger school districts buy up the smaller ones and fire the students. They could do this until there is only one left standing.

Think of the millions of dollars they would save by doing this. Then Mikey and his elitist cronies could spend all that excess money on more Olympic fluff. The students have always been an irrelevant part of his plans anyway, so who would care. Just as long as we have five rings on the hillside and he comes out looking like a hero. I am glad to see he has his priorities in place.
