An internationally known expert on sport science will give a free lecture on the past, present and future of the the Winter Paralympics at 7 p.m. March 12 at the Marriott Library Gould Auditorium at the University of Utah.

Gudrun Doll-Tepper, who is president of the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education, teaches in the department of sport science of Humboldt-Universitt in Berlin. She has authored or co-authored more than 250 publications in sport science, sport pedagogy and adapted physical activity and sport for persons with disabilities.

Doll-Tepper's lecture is the concluding address in a series of 10 offered by the U. College of Health, the Obert C. and Grace A. Tanner Humanities Center and Professor Larry Gerlach on the history and culture of the Winter Olympics.
