Kathryn Seymour passed away Friday, February 1, 2002 in Spanish Fork, Utah.
She was born July 14, 1916 in Kamas, UT to Thomas S. and Elizabeth Thomas Seymour. She lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, UT. Kathryn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Salt Lake Public Schools, LDS Business College, and the University of Utah. Kathryn spent most of her working years as a research assistant at the University of Utah College of Medicine. After retirement, Kathryn moved to Utah County to be closer to her family.
Kathryn was preceded into the eternal world by her parents, and her brothers and sisters: Elaine, Aaron, Virginia, and Carl. She always supported her family with love and devotion.
Kathryn had great faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ and His plan for happiness and salvation. Kathryn gladly accepted her mission in this life which revolved around her family. Her good influence increased as she matured and she joyously served others. Kathryn had great integrity of heart and was filled with righteous desires and purposes.
For the last seven months of her life, she was cared for and greatly loved by Perry and Marian Bowers, her great niece and nephew, and their children. Kathryn called them her "angels". Kathryn will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, but they know that she is in a much better place rejoicing with those who preceded her.
The family would like to thank all of Kathryn's caregivers over the years.
