HOUSTON (AP) — A Delta Air Lines flight from Houston to Salt Lake City returned to a gate Wednesday afternoon at Houston's Intercontinental Airport after a small engine fire was discovered as it taxied.

Airport spokesman Ernie DeSoto said no injuries were reported.

Delta Flight 1895 — a Boeing 737 — was on a runway when the pilot noticed a flame in an engine. When the pilot shut down the engine, the fire was extinguished and the plane returned to a terminal without further incident.
