OGDEN — Investigators continued Saturday to sort through the rubble left by a fire that destroyed a three-story house.

Fire marshal Matt Schwenk said as of Saturday the fire "does not look like it's accidental." However, Schwenk declined to comment on what made the fire suspicious.

The fire started just before 9 p.m. Friday at the vacant house, 614 E. 24th Street. When crews arrived, all three stories were burning and fire was shooting from the roof, said Ogden Fire Battalion Chief Steve Splinter.

Damage to the house is estimated at $105,000, and it is considered a total loss.
