Pleasant Grove's Rand Davis went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs to lead the Vikings to the 5-4 extra-inning victory over Olympus in prep baseball action Thursday.
Olympus (0-1) led 3-2 after five innings, but the Vikings (1-0) scored the equalizer in the sixth and scored two in the eighth to win their season opener.

PLEASANT GROVE 7, TIMPVIEW 2: Pleasant Grove pitcher Jenny Scoville helped her own cause, going 2-for-3 with a triple to get the win.
JORDAN 1, TAYLORSVILLE 0:Normandy Jackson singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth for the Beetdiggers. Lindsie Nielsen threw a one-hitter in nine innings of work.
