The Utah Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the Utah Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are holding an annual "Hot-tub-a-thon" to benefit the foundation from Monday to Friday, April 8 to 12.
The event usually raises as much as $3,000 for the foundation and is used to help find a cure for the genetic, fatal illness.
On Monday, April 8, a spaghetti dinner will be sponsored by Pepsi-Cola and the Old Spaghetti Factory, which will donate about 300 dinners and people to serve them at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house.
Wednesday, April 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. the tub-a-thon takes place on the U. campus. The hot tub will be placed on the patio directly in front of the student union building, and members of the fraternity must have someone in the tub for 12 straight hours. Throughout, there will be a live band, raffle and other events.
