We wish to acknowledge the excellent media coverage of the 2002 Winter Olympics and Paralympics: the two local newspapers with their brilliant photos, the radio stations and, perhaps most of all, the TV coverage of all the local stations, channels 2, 4, 5 and Fox.
Channel 5, of course, was the anchor station nationally but could not have been as effective without expert local coverage. We refer specifically to the professionalism and experience of Shelley Osterloh. Her on-site reports and interviews brought a personal involvement and contributed notably to the overall success of the Games. Thanks, Shelley.
