Entrepreneur and philanthropist Gary L. Crocker was scheduled to be inducted into the University of Utah's College of Science Hall of Fame during the college's convocation ceremony today.
Crocker founded Research Medical Inc., a medical device manufacturing company. He also is chairman of the board of Associated Regional and University Pathologists Laboratories and is president of Crocker Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm that concentrates on health-care and medical technologies.
The College of Science Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who are closely connected with the college and who are leaders in the scientific community.
