Wallace Hale, 76, passed away May 8, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born March 16, 1926, in Pittsburgh, PA, and later moved to Salt Lake City where we was raised by his mother, Joan Young Hale and step father Edward H. Hale. He married Lucille Allred in 1946. Wallace was a very accomplished fast pitch in softball. He served in the US Navy serving in submarines in the South Pacific. He was raised and worked in the restaurant business throughout all his life. He enjoyed and supported his grandsons in sports. He was a lifelong member of the LDS Church.

Survived by his wife, Lucille, daughter, Robyn (Bill) Rhinehart and son-in-law, Mike Oseguera, grandchildren, Tommy (Brooke), Ricky Rhinehart, Tony and Austin Oseguera, great-grandchildren, Brant and Brenden Rhinehart. Preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie.

Funeral Services will he held Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Midvale East 6th Ward, 7250 South 3rd. East at 11:00 a.m., where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South.
