BRIAN HEAD — Thousands of Engleman Spruce Trees need a new home.

The National Forest Service is looking for volunteers to assist with the planting and seeding of the trees through June 9.

"We hope to distribute and plant over 10,000 seedlings in the next two weeks," Joe Price, Brian Head Chamber director, said. "In order for this project to succeed, we need help and support from southern Utah and anyone else that is interested."

Family, friends, Scouts, 4-H and civic groups are especially invited.

Trees can be picked up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Brian Head Chamber of Commerce, city hall and Brian Head Resort. Maps of the planting area will be provided.
