After a difficult struggle with illness, Jerry Pratt died at home May 24, 2002. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT, Sept 20, 1938, the son of Lorus F. and Wanda B. Pratt. He graduated from South High School. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing, boating, hunting and golf. He owned Club Stanyon Street and The Manhattan in downtown Salt Lake.

He is survived by his son, Steven Jerrold Pratt, Salt Lake City; two grandchildren, Shay Allen Jerrold Pratt, Kayla Marlee Pratt, Arvada, CO; a brother, Ray Pratt, Indian Wells, CA; a sister, Nancy Moss, College Station, TX; loving cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sonny, Brent; and sister, Cheryl. He will be missed for his quick wit and ability to make people laugh.

The family wants to extend a special appreciation to Tami Pratt, a niece, for her special care during the last several months of his life.
