Salt Lake-based Pacific WebWorks said Wednesday it had net earnings of $30,982 for the quarter ended June 30. That compares with a net loss of $3.4 million for the same quarter a year ago.

Net revenues totaled $924,873 for the first six months of 2002, up from $496,892 for the first half of 2001.

The company said the quarter was its second profitable quarter and that it has been cash-flow-positive since January, with net cash of $143,216 from operating activities for the first half of 2002.

Pacific WebWorks offers software programs to small businesses to create, manage and maintain Web activities.

The company's stock was trading at 17 cents early Wednesday, up 3 cents from Tuesday's close. In the past year, the price has ranged from 8 cents to 75 cents.
