EUREKA — Chief Consolidated Mining Co. has entered into an exclusive sales listing agreement with the Salt Lake office of CB Richard Ellis, a national real estate firm, to market some of its land holdings.
Chief Mining will sell about 4,500 acres north of U.S. 6 in and around Eureka, Juab County, to provide the company with more working capital to fund its current operations.
The company said the sale is part of its previously announced plan to maximize the value of its real estate holdings while the company pursues potential joint venture opportunities for its mining operations.
