Aug. 20 — Temple Square Concert Series/Concerts in the Park: The Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band will play Celtic and Scottish tunes, drum salutes and marches on their bagpipes at 7:30 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park, southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Free admission.

Aug. 21 — Garden Walks in the Park Series: Beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park, Sherm Brough will speak on edible trees and shrubs for the landscape. Garden talks are one hour and are free. Visit www.placestovisit.lds.org for more information.

Aug. 23 — Temple Square Concert Series: Christianne Stotijn, alto-mezzo, of the Netherlands will sing works by Handel, Schubert, Strauss, Ives, Tschaikovsky and Rossini in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.
