Many years back, being an American meant speaking English. That's changing fast. America is being transformed into a multilingual "Tower of Babel."

Since 1985, 26 states have voted for "English Only" to be the official language of America, but many forces want to repeal those state laws. I strongly believe that the use of a common language is vital to the unity of any nation. The people coming here from many nations may speak their own language in their own homes and gatherings but must choose to learn the English language out of respect for their adopted country. Even our own state of Utah voted for "English Only," though for some reason it has not been put into effect. We need to send a message to our lawmakers that passing an "Official English Bill" is a top priority of the American people.
