WASHINGTON (AP) — A Michigan company is recalling its Ultimate Lo Carb Bar in chocolate-brownie-nut flavor because it may contain peanuts not listed on the label, which could risk a life-threatening reaction in people allergic to peanuts.

Elan Nutrition LLC said the recalled bars, sold nationwide, are in 60-gram packages with the following product codes: APR1803S1, APR1803S6, APR1803W6, APR1803W1, APR1803H7, APR1803N6, APR1903S7, APR1903N7, and APR1903W7.

One allergic reaction has been reported in connection with the recalled bars, a woman who is recovering, the Food and Drug Administration said.

People allergic to peanuts should not eat the recalled bars but return them to the place of purchase for a refund. Customers with questions may contact Elan Nutrition at 1-616-940-6000.
