Jessie Wesley Baker, age 83, passed away at his home on January 20, 2003.

He was born May 12, 1919 in Mendon, Utah to Jesse Simon and Zina Ruthinda Hill Baker. Wesley graduated from South Cache High School, and attended the Utah Agricultural College and Brigham Young University. He joined the service and worked in the shipyards. He married Eva May Davis on November 10, 1942. Sealed one year later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in California, Washington, and Utah. Wesley operated a chicken farm in Price, Utah and was known to many as "the egg man." He also sold Watkins products. One of his loves was square dancing. His greatest love was the gospel of Jesus Christ and his family.

Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Eva May Davis; sons: Lyle, Jesse, Brooks, Alvin, and Rocky; daughters: Bonnie, Leah, and Zina; brothers: Ernest and Kendall; sister: Valois. Adopted daughter, Dawn and Hank Casten. Preceded in death by sons: Seth and David; brother: Ivan and sisters: Frances, Marie, and Jane.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2003, at 12 noon at the RCA Center, 1224 West 16580 South, Bluffdale. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the RCA Center. Interment, Bluffdale Cemetery, 14175 So. Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
