Born September 26, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT and died January 21, 2003 in Draper, at the age of 74 after suffering many years with M.S.

Married his sweetheart in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 5, 1950. Lived most of his life and raised his four children in the Canyon Rim area. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Worked as an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad. Enjoyed building and spent many happy years constructing a log cabin on the Palisades Reservoir in Star Valley, Wyoming. He was noted for his friendly manor and contagious laugh.

Boyd was preceded in death by his father Elias A. Schrenk.

He is survived by his wife Darleen North Schrenk; children, Martin Boyd Schrenk, Marilee (David) Royle and their children: Stephen, Kelly, Kari and Kristy, Deiadra Schrenk, Carolynn (Bret) Drake and their children: Natalie and Bryce; mother Mildred McKenna Schrenk; brother Don Schrenk; brother and sister-in-law, Murray and Wanda Allen.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at 12 Noon in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 So. where friends may call Friday 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
