SACRAMENTO, Calif. — At first glance, the Weber State basketball team looks to have an easy win lined up against Sacramento State tonight.

The Hornets have lost three Big Sky games by a combined 52 points and have never beaten the Wildcats. But the Sacramento State basketball program is improving and the Hornets won their first conference road game at Northern Arizona earlier this year.

Weber State coach Joe Cravens knows how dangerous Sacramento State can be. The Hornets lost to the Wildcats in overtime at home and by three points at the Dee Events Center last season.

"We've had a hard time there and it's a tough place to play," Cravens said. "I'll say it for the 1,000th time — there's no easy wins in this conference."

Weber State will have to take care of the ball tonight as the Hornets force a league-leading 18.7 turnovers a game. The Wildcats want a better start to tonight's game after opening Thursday's win over Northern Arizona 1-of-10 from the field. The Wildcats are tied for first place with Eastern Washington. The two teams meet in Ogden next Saturday.
