DRAPER — The northbound I-15 offramp to State Street at 11800 South was closed this week by the Utah Department of Transportation and will remain closed for about two years.
The State Street onramp to southbound I-15 at 11800 South will close Jan. 27 for the same duration.
Both ramps, however, could remain closed permanently or may be reconfigured as part of the reconstruction of the 12300 South interchange, according to UDOT. Department engineers are now studying various design alternatives.
The southbound flyover ramp can continue to be used for access to 12300 South. A temporary connection will be built from State Street to Factory Outlet Drive to improve traffic flow while the ramps are closed.
