"Together Again"
The last leaf has fallen! Annie was a survivor, surviving the death of her mother at her birth. She overcame many other hardships, including the trials of old age.
She provided a home for their family wherever her husband's construction work took him, including the Panama Canal and dams such as Boulder and Grand Coulee.
She had a clear Scottish view of the realities of life and said just recently, "I can do what I have to do." And through it all, she enjoyed life up until the day she died.
Annie passed away Saturday, Jan 25, 2003 in Salem, UT. She was born Feb 26, 1903 in Richfield, UT a daughter of John and Annie Christina Morrison Orrock. She married Clarence Craig Malin, June 12, 1929 in Reno, NV. He preceded her in death Nov 19, 1986.
She graduated from high school in Heber City, UT. She attended two years at BYU Academy. She taught grade school at Heber, Price, and Soldier's Summit. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught literature in Relief Society.
Survivors include her son, and daughter, Craig O. Malin, Woodland Hills, UT, Sally Griep, Palos Verdes, CA; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Griep; all of her immediate family; parents; three sisters; and a brother.
