- Paul Orson Stanley (65), Lehi returned home to his Father in Heaven after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on the afternoon of Jan 2, 2003.
Paul was born June 5, 1937 to Frank and Winifred Stanley, Salt Lake City, where he was reared to be a loyal and loving husband, father, and friend. After graduating from West High School, Paul served his country for eight years in the Air National Guard before taking a position as a photographer for the Deseret News. Paul worked more than three decades at restaurant and store equipment where he met his beautiful bride of 32 years. Paul was sealed to his mate June 21, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Paul is preceded in death by his father. Survived by his wife, Robyn; mother, Winifred; brother, David; sister, MaryAnn; four sons, Robert (Cindy), Paul (Danyel), David (Julie), Steven (Stephanie); six grandchildren, with another on the way; and one great-grandchild.
Always putting others before himself, even through his battle with cancer, Paul will always be remembered for his strength of character, strength of heart, and strength of family. To our loving husband and father, we love you and we will miss you.
Private family services are planned; Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. No flowers requested.
