Our beloved husband and father died Saturday, January 4, 2003, at his home after a long fought battle of heart complications at the age of 69.

He was born January 4, 1934 in Milford, Utah to Heber DeWayne Myers and Gilva Arvetta Terry. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from Milford High School in 1952 where he was active in sports. He attended the University of Utah and Steven Henager's College. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the out-of-doors. He was in the US Navy for four years during the Korean War. He was a life time member of the American Legion. He married Marcia Carter in the St. George Temple on January 9, 1954. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service as a radar technician.

He is survived by his wife Marcia; three sons, Rodney (Kelly), Kevin (Karen), and Paul; three grandchildren, Krystal Myers, Autumn Myers, and April (Donald Kenneth) Roberts; two step great-grandchildren, D.J. Roberts and Destinee Roberts; four sisters, Roma Jean (Bud) Williams, Ranee (Gary) DeGrew, and Shirlene (Alan) Arns, and KaryLon Nightengale. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one sister.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, January 8, 2003, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary at 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. On Thursday, January 9, 2003, a viewing will be held between 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Kaysville, Utah Central Stake house at 555 North 100 East, Kaysville, Utah. Interment will be at Kaysville City Cemetery.
