Jerry Sprinkle drys off a dog after giving it a bath Tuesday at the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control facility in Phoenix. Sprinkle is one of a group of low-security inmates whom prison officials allow to wash, trim and groom dogs at the shelter. For many of the inmates, the chance to participate in the program is much-anticipated.
