More men are needed in the teaching profession.

When I was teaching at Parker's Chapel in Arkansas, one of my fifth-grade girls was being rather sulky. On Parent-Teachers Day I told the mother I was having a problem with her daughter.

She said, "Mr. Squire, don't you know what the problem is?"

I said, "No, ma'am, I don't."

She said, "My daughter has a crush on you, and you won't pay any attention to her."

I gave her more attention and had no trouble from then on.

Teaching can be a very rewarding experience.
