WEST VALLEY CITY — Olympus' Shaun Green made sure Oakland Tech's journey to Utah was a forgettable one.

The Olympus junior tallied 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Titans to a 75-71 victory over the Bulldogs in the Smith's Ragu Classic. The highly regarded Oakland team from California, featuring North Carolina signee Quentin Thomas, also lost to Brighton on Thursday and Wasatch on Friday.

Even though Thomas tallied 13 points and nine rebounds, that wasn't enough to counter Green's outstanding game.

Oakland actually led 55-54 with about five minutes remaining in the game, but the Titans went on a 12-2 run to all but wrap up the victory. Olympus' Chris Marsh officially sealed it by making 6-of-6 free throws in the final minute.
