Eternal love equals eternal family. Our sweet mother and grandmother left this mortal life to be with her eternal companion on Wednesday, December 10, 2003.

Fern Money Davis was born January 6, 1917 in Palmyra, Utah to John Banks Money and Adalinda Rose Money. She was educated at the Palmyra School until her 6th grade and then continued her education at the Spanish Fork Junior and High schools.

Fern learned at an early age about hard work and dependability. She met our dad, Merril Davis, while she was working at the Schofield Motel and Daddy saw her across the street and told his sister that he was going to marry her.

They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 6, 1936 for time and eternity. They were blessed with five children: John M. (Jan) Davis of Puyallup, WA; Joan Davis Johnson of Spanish Fork, UT; Richard M. (Tamara) Davis of Spanish Fork, UT; Bill M. (Renee) Davis of Pocatello, ID; Bob M. (Patty) Davis of Beale Air Force Base, Beale, CA; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one brother: Richard (Colleen) Money of Springville, UT; two sisters: Helen Bird of Springville, UT; and Lois Albertson of Spanish Fork, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merril, of 62 years; a granddaughter, Kiplyn Davis; a grandson, Jeremy Davis, and a sister: Kathryn Dixon.
