RENO, Nev. — Kirk Snyder scored 16 points and Nick Fazekas added 15 as Nevada pulled away late for a 74-62 win over Weber State on Saturday night.

Nevada (3-3) trailed 55-54 with under eight minutes to play but used an 11-0 run to take control.

Weber State (4-3) was unable to answer the charge after forward Slobodan Ocokoljic fouled out with 5:26 to play. Ocokoljic led all scorers with 23 points.

Earlier in the game, Ocokoljic had scored all nine points during a 9-0 run that allowed Weber State to tie the game at 43-43.

Snyder scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half as Nevada ended a two-game skid. Kevinn Pinkney scored 11 points and Garry Hill-Thomas added 10.

John Hamilton scored 15 points and had six rebounds for Weber State.

Nevada led for most of the game. Weber State took a 53-52 lead in the second half by hitting four straight free throws.
