- Wayne H. Poulsen "Hans," 66, passed away December 10, 2003 on his ranch in Mt. Pleasant.

Dad was born July 14, 1937 on the family farm to Hans B. Poulsen and Lois Jensen Poulsen. He graduated from North Sanpete High school where he was a member of the Football team and participated in the Future Farmers of America. He married Colleen Coller on August 14, 1966, later divorced. He retired from the Morni Feed Company in 1999 after 30 years of dedicated service. Dad was an avid sheep rancher and loved to spend time on the "Big East" tending his sheep. As a result, his name can be found on numerous aspen trees through out the Manti LaSalle Mountains.

Dad loved and adored his first grandchild and best friend McKinzie Farley who survives him. He is also survived by his three children, Shellie Cline (Bo), Draper, Stacy Farley (Justin), Mt. Pleasant and Clint Poulsen (Jamie), Fairview. Six additional grandchildren, Haylie, Jaycie, Hayden, Chynna, Colton and unborn baby Jamison (due next week). His mother, Lois, along with his brothers, Richard "cootie" (Donna) Poulson and Tony (Connie) Poulson, also survive him. Preceded in death by his first born son, Trent Wayne, father, Hans, and brother, David.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 16th at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant 4th Ward Chapel, 55 S. State Street. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 at the Magleby-Rasmussen Mortuary, 96 N. 100 W. Mt. Pleasant. Interment: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
