Jun Niki Futatsugi, 88, born June 7, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sanichi Futatsugi and Fujino Aoyagi. Jun, passed away Dec. 11, 2003.

Survived by Yo Niki (Betsy), brother; Marion Kimura, sister; Sumiko Nagata, sister-in-law; 11 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; Joseph Niki (Michiko) and Sadao Nagata, brothers; Lelah Niki, sister; Hikaru Kimura, brother-in-law.

Jun grew up in Nagano Ken, Japan and in Sugar City, Idaho. Active in the LDS Church. Filled LDS mission in the Central Pacific Mission, Hawaii. Filled temple missions to the Washington D.C., Swiss, and Tokyo Temples. Served Temple Square Mission in Salt Lake City and was a church service missionary.

Graduated from the Pasadena City College, CA. Employed by the Salt Lake YWCA, the Genealogical Society of Utah, and the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co. in Salt Lake City. Served in many foreign countries with the American Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State, U.S.A.I.D.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, December 19, 2003 at the Salt Lake Ensign Stake, 135 North "A" Street. Viewing one hour prior to funeral service at the church and Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
