- Judith Jean Dalton Finlinson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 13, 2003.
Judith was born in Richfield, Utah August 3, 1940, a daughter of Arthur W. and Florence G. Dalton. She married David Finlinson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 26, 1960.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Centennial Park Ward. Her church service included Relief Society President, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Cub Scout Leader, Genealogy and many other positions.
Judith enjoyed reading, teaching, sewing and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, David; children, Jalair Finlinson, Ashburn, VA; Danele Finlinson, Westlake Village, CA; Kyle (Sharon) Finlinson, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Steven (Dana) Finlinson, Kaysville, Utah; Tecia (David) Stout, Clinton, Utah; Grant (Kimberly) Finlinson, South Weber, Utah; Shara (DaRell) Frehner, St. George, Utah; Charles Finlinson, Tempe, AZ and Andrew Finlinson, Tempe, AZ. Also surviving are her father, Arthur (Nola) Dalton, Circleville, Utah; 11 grandchildren; brothers, R. Curtis (Dorothy) Dalton, Kenneth (Joanne) Dalton and Marvin Dalton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Dalton, one son, Grant D. Finlinson, and a sister, LaRae Dalton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the Centennial Park Ward, 1350 South 1800 West, Syracuse, Utah.
Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
