I am writing in response to Sharon Rishe's article, "Show some sensitivity." Though I agree with her points that religious celebrations should be equally tolerated and respected, I want to point out that we do live in a predominantly Christian area, so it is rather expected that the people of the area will celebrate what they believe.
All religions have equal rights, but you seem to be saying that you feel your rights are being stripped because other people choose to freely express their beliefs. If you want to have lawn decor and pageants that express your beliefs, feel free. You will not be punished.
Religious freedom is one of the great blessings we Americans enjoy. All people, no matter what their beliefs, should be able to express them as they will.
