Vanessa Balderas nailed a 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation, allowing Taylorsville to take Timpview into overtime and an eventual 70-67 upset of the T-Birds.
Taylorsville (5-2), ranked No. 9 in the state's Top 20 girls basketball poll, bettered Timpview (1-3), which was ranked No. 2 among 4A teams and No. 5 overall.
