Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13, 2003 surrounded by his family. Dad kept his sense of humor throughout his long battle with emphysema right up to the end. He will be greatly missed.
Born Oct. 5, l929 in Moroni, Utah to Reldon John and Vicena (Peterson) Holman and raised in Fountain Green. Married Elaine Anderson on April 20, l956. He served in the Korean War from 1951 to l953. He spent 30 years working as a manufacturing engineer at various companies throughout the valley and retired from Sperry UNIVAC (Unisys) in l987. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved working in his garden.
Survived by his wife and three children: Cynthia (Butch) Schmidt, Suzan Bevan, and John Scott (Angie) Holman; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Holman, and Dean Holman, and one sister Shirley (Holman) Dennison. Preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Max.
As per Dad's wishes, he will be cremated, so please no flowers. A memorial gathering in his honor will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City.
He will be missed by many and
