Our dearly beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend James (Dimitrious, Big "D") Marinos died suddenly on December 13, 2003.

James was born on May 6, 1949 to Steve and Margaret Marinos. James married his life soulmate and best friend, Deborah Gray, in November, 1976. Together, they have two beautiful sons, Joshua James and Matthew John. James had many talents, interests and hobbies. His business ventures were broad and ranged from restaurants to sales.

James is survived by four brothers John (Patty), Bill (Peggy), Tony (Merry) and George (Karee), and was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephen. James will also be missed by his many loving family members and friends who enjoyed his playful spirit, quick wit and dry humor.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 18, at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, between 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, December l9, at 11 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.
