Lillie Miller Walker, 93, died Monday, December 15, 2003 at the American Fork Hospital.
She was born May 18, 1910 in American Fork, Utah to John F. and Caroline Schow Miller. She was one of eight children. She married John Eldon Walker, known as Jack, June 15, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Lillie was employed at Chipman's Dept. Store and Devey's for many years as a buyer and saleslady. She was outstanding in women's styles and fashions.
She has been active in many church and civic affairs as President of Latona Music Club, Cultural Arts and Literary League and member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was President of the Alpine Stake MIA and later was called by President David O. McKay to be MIA Division Chairman over Alpine, Lehi, Pleasant Grove and Provo Stakes. Lillie was a Temple worker at the Provo Temple for several years.
Jack and Lillie were parents of two children Diane (Kay) Walton and John R. Walker, deceased, of Long Beach, CA. They have five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003, American Fork 3rd Ward, Hillcrest Stake Center, 165 N. 350 W. Friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N. and Fri. at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment American Fork Cemetery.
