Each time Robert Redford voices his opinion on environmental issues, as he did last week concerning President Bush's energy bill, I'm reminded of stories a personal friend in Redford's employment told me. If Redford wanted something done, whether or not it defaced or damaged the mountain habitat, it got done.

I'm sure Redford has concerns for the environment. He gets them in print because of who he is. But Robert Redford is a rich guy from someplace else who's got his piece of the mountain and doesn't want anyone bothering him. I can't put much weight on his concerns.
