The letters regarding gay marriages continue to amaze me. Besides the moral issues, there are other important issues considering gay marriages. I remember the gay bath houses where AIDS was spread. It slowly spread to the straight community. Yet we were continually told it was not a "gay" disease.

There is truly no wrong in our culture any longer. If you murder your children, it's postpartum depression. If you are gay, it is an alternative lifestyle. If you are a terrorist, it is the West's fault because they have oppressed you.

I am against gay marriage because I do not want my children exposed to recruitment. I do not want to lose my insurance.

It costs taxpayers a lot of money to take care of AIDS patients. You should look up the costs of these medications that you pay for. You can keep telling people that we don't understand, that we are intolerant and try to manipulate us, but look in the mirror when you say it so you hear the same message.
