2 Y. students attending Sierra Student summit

WASHINGTON, D. C. — Two Brigham Young University students are joining 100 students from across the country in the Sierra Student Coalition's fifth annual national summit to protect the wildlands of the United States.

Jonina Spriggs and Sara Farnsworth are attending the meeting, which started Friday and continues through Tuesday. After a weekend learning about wildland issues, students will spend two days lobbying Congress. The Sierra Student Coalition is the student-run arm of the Sierra Club.
