I am curious about the motivation of the three esteemed council members — Jan, Colleen and Max — who, in their infinite wisdom have decided to cut a road through Payson's most widely known historical attraction, the racetrack. This will destroy the track for use by the Racing Association and any equestrian activities.
I am curious as to why there was no public hearing and why discussion of the track was not printed on the agenda the night they blatantly manipulated the vote. Was their decision clouded by personal bias? Was their action a misuse of their authority?
The project they have planned for this area is shockingly expensive. It should be put on the ballot so citizens an express their opinions.
