State starts pilot study of shortened form

The Utah Department of Workforce Services has launched a pilot study for a new abbreviated application for services.

The pilot will be in two regions of the state to determine the effectiveness in both rural and urban settings. The selected centers are the Midvale and Richfield employment centers.

The new form is five pages, compared with the current 10. The pilot study will last up to six months, and customers will be surveyed about its effectiveness.
