Richard Lot Robinson, 51, of Salt Lake City passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 of complications following surgery.
He was born January 31, 1952 in American Fork, Utah; to William Wayne and Lydia Louise Skinner Robinson. Richard grew up in American Fork and graduated from American Fork High School in 1970. He served an LDS mission to Denmark. Richard worked for many years in the retail business as a buyer for ZCMI. He was currently employed by the Salt Lake Acting Company. He loved to travel and enjoyed skiing.
He is survived by his mother Lydia Louise Robinson of American Fork; five siblings: Stanley (Donna), American Fork; Janet (Bert) Alexander, St. George; Shirley (Ken) Russon, American Fork; Bill (Betty), American Fork; Norma (Elwyn) Peck, Lehi; sister-in-law, Jean Robinson, Salt Lake; many nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved dearly. His father and his brother, Carl, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork Ninth Ward Chapel, 673 East 300 North. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
