Obituary: Christine Wilde Eagar

6/8/1950 ~ 3/13/2003

Christine died of cancer while under the loving care of her parents at their home in Park City, Utah.

She served as a secretary to the Special Assistant (Jon Huntsman) to President Nixon. Chris finished her college education at the University of Utah, 1972. Upon completion of college, she was actively involved in Real Estate, where she met her husband Randy Eagar. Chris and Randy were married June 21, 1980.

They began their family with the birth of Tiffany Feb 27, 1982 and Rich Aug 3, 1984. Chris loved being a mother and wife. She was actively involved in service projects and loved riding horses, playing tennis and was a voracious reader. Leadership positions included president of the Rowland Hall St. Marks Home and School Board, Cub Scout leader and Primary president for her ward.

She is survived by her parents, Richard A. and Wilma J. Wilde, sisters, Vicki, Randlyn Wilde; husband, Randal K. Eagar; children, Tiffany, Richard Eagar; niece, Jennifer Swift; husband, Joel Swift; in-laws, Todd S. and Sylvia L. Eagar; sister-in-law, Lisa, her husband, Andrew Novetzke, and their children, Maxwell, Ezekiel.

Also a special thank you to the Hospice people of Heber City, especially Susan Jorgensen. Flowers would be accepted at the ward chapel or charitable donations sent to The Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Viewing will be Mon. March 17, 2003, 6-8 p.m. Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 Highland Dr. Services will be Tues. March 18, 2003, 12 noon Cottonwood LDS 7th Ward Chapel, 5565 S. Neighbor Lane.
