Obituary: Julia Anne Walker Rigby

"Together Again"

Julia Anne Walker Rigby, age 82, went home March 1, 2003, surrounded by her family.

Born Sept 2, 1920 in Pocatello, ID a daughter of Robert and Zella Shue Walker. Married Samuel Wesley Rig-by, Sr. Dec 1, 1937; he preceded her in death Oct 14, 1971. Together they had 12 children, Samuel (Carolyn) Rigby, Jr., William A. (Betty) Rigby, Joanne (Don) Rowland, Kenneth (Julie) Rigby, Kimball (Sharon) Rigby, Max-ine (Harold) Schmidt, Cathrine (Deroy) Peterson, Jeanette (Larry) Baker, Don-na (John) Gardner, John (Esther) Rig-by, Gayle (Elaine) Rigby, Rose Anne Gray.

Survived by 11 children; 61 grand-children; 124 great-grandchildren; 26 great great-grandchildren; broth-er, David E. (Deloy) Walker; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, two sisters and two brothers.

Family members would like to extend many thanks to our sister, brother-in-law, brothers, and sisters-in-law for taking care of Mom the last few years. A special thanks to Donna and John for being so patient with us at this time. Also, we appreciate Dr. Leiser and Rocky Mountain Hospice for helping us take care of Mom's needs, and especially Lonnie Giles for her love and devotion to Grandma.

Services will be Tues. 12 noon Mc-Dougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd, where friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. and Tues. 11-11:45 a.m. In-terment, Valley View Memorial Park.
