Obituary: Mickey Venitelli

EPHRAIM: <! > Mickey Venitelli, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, died March 19, 2003 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in North Plainfield, New Jersey to Vincent and Lucy Falaco Venitelli, on January 13, 1917. He came to Utah in the CC's met and married Melba Marie Olsen, on August 22, 1936, in Ephraim, Utah. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1972.

Mickey was general contractor and owned Ephraim Construction Company, until he retired. He loved to hunt, and fish, and enjoyed the game of golf. Mickey was also a World War II veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Sherri Fergusson of St. George; Tami and Ronnie Cox of Manti; Mickey Charmaine and Dale Nicholls of Ephraim; two Brothers, Roy and Don Venitelli, of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grand-children.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ephraim Stake Center. Family and friends can view him Sunday night March 23rd. from 6 until 8p.m., and two hours prior to funeral services Monday March 24th, 2003. Interment will be at the Ephraim City Cemetery with full military honors. Funeral directors Buchanan Mortuary Manti.
