No reward is necessary

Do we as individuals help others for the benefit of a monetary reward, or do we help out wherever possible because we are honest and concerned citizens of our community, state and country? If anyone deserves to be rewarded in the Smart case, it's Mary Katherine Smart, who was so persistent and determined in her efforts to recall and piece together her memories of the past.

How sad it is that we as adults may think that we are so much smarter than a 9-year-old. We truly can learn from the children if we only take the time to listen. They haven't developed the egos of adults — yet.
