'All Aboard' candidates win U. student election

Adrian Johnson and Anthony White, running on the "All Aboard" ticket, have been elected president and vice president, respectively, of the Associated Students of the University of Utah. They beat Summit Party candidates Jake Werrett and Rob Wood by 239 votes.

Only 15 percent of U. students voted, the great majority of them casting votes online. The number still was ahead of last year by some 800 votes, said Marshall McDonald, ASUU elections registrar, "which is a positive change."

Beth Brown was elected senior class president. Sixteen senators and 48 assembly members also were elected.
