Utahns to take a shot at free groceries

Utahns have a chance to win nearly $10,000 in free groceries during SuperTarget's Bullseye Challenge in April. Contestants enter by creating the SuperTarget Bullseye logo out of any type of food — cheesecake, vegetables, pizza, candy or carpaccio. Winners will be chosen for creativity and likeness to the company's bull's-eye logo.

For each entry received, SuperTarget will donate $5 to the Utah Food Bank, up to $2,500. The grand-prize winner receives $5,000 in free groceries, a second-place winner receives $1,000 in free groceries, and a third-place winner receives $500 in free groceries. In addition, 32 other semifinalists will each get $100 in free groceries.

Contestants can pick up an entry form at all Wasatch Front Target or SuperTarget guest services. The entry form, recipe and photo of the creation must be received by April 16. Send to SuperTarget Bullseye Challenge, P.O. Box 1001, Salt Lake City, UT 84110. On April 26, 35 semifinalists will make their recipes for judging at the Fort Union SuperTarget.
